I've learned that when I get to the point that the panic attack is coming on, it's best to breathe into the paper bag, twist my body into a pretzel-like yoga pose, and ask myself what absolutely has to get done today, and what will I strive to achieve tomorrow. That back burner is there for a reason.
I have a similar mentality--I scribble out the things for tomorrow that I think would be the best use of the day and do as much as I can until my brain fades. And then when I huff my paper bag, I fill it with skinned loose cabbage so I get that good organic self-care cabbage calm.
Feeling that crunch myself.
It's tough when you're giving everything you've got and it feels like you need to do more.
